This is a sensual wine with notes of cherry fruit, tobacco, leather & hints of licorice & spice. The elegant tannins balance nicely with the fruit, all underlined by a fabulous stratum of acidity, making this a complex wine with incredible structure & power. A long & satisfying finish confirms this Sangiovese is true to its terroir.
The wine is rests for 18 months in large oak, 6 of which are on its fine lees, followed by 6 months in stainless steel tanks & an additional minimum 6 months in bottle.
