South of the Willamette Valley lies Rogue Valley, a small wine-producing region with dry, dusty soils and a hot climate that aligns with Rhone Valley or Rioja than its Oregon counterpart.

Foris was one of the first vineyards in Oregon to experiment with Alsatian varietals and has become synonymous with these fragrant, textured styles of wine. The Pinot Noir comes from 8 hectares of Dijon Pinot Noir clones planted in the vineyards, it exhibits a ruby red colour in the glass and light-medium body. On the nose and palate, it offers a mixture of black cherry compote, black currant, mocha, vanilla, white pepper, salted caramel, and lingering flavors of fresh cherry, oak and baking chocolate.
