South of the Willamette Valley lies Rogue Valley, a small wine-producing region with dry, dusty soils and a hot climate that aligns with Rhone Valley or Rioja than its Oregon counterpart.
Foris was one of the first vineyards in Oregon to experiment with Alsatian varietals and has become synonymous with these fragrant, textured styles of wine. Straw in color, the Pinot Gris has fragrant aromatics of pear, honeysuckle, orange blossom hone, and white stone fruit. The wine has enhanced mouthfeel and weight but with bright acidity that carries flavors to a lingering finish of pear, lemon zest and pith.
