With the marriage of Anne-Francoise and Francois Parent came the unique creation of AF Gros in 1988, a Burgundy estate with vineyeards in the extemely coveted Pinot regions of both Pommard and Volnay.
Their Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a blend of Pinot Noir from two of their Volnay vineyards and one Pommard vineyard, forcing it to remain at "entry level" status while we get to reap the benefits of these two incredibly prestigious regions.
It has notes of red currant, black fruits and black tea with complexity, supple tannins and a long finish.
