Ken Wright landed in Willamette Valley and took it by storm, spearheading 11 different AVAs for the region.
"Bonnie Jean" is one of his 13 single estate vineyard Pinot Noirs from Yamhill-Carlton, named for the daugther of the farm owners. With the land planted to a variety of Pinot clones and several Pommard vines, this wine is floral and spice focused. Earthy notes of mushroom and cocoa mingle with black plum, boysenberry, and black currant. Silky and lithe on the palate with raspberry, red plum and milk chocolate. Certified organic with minimal intervention in the winery.
