Located in Anse on the southern end of Beaujolais, "La Galoche" is named for the river that runs through the area of their property. The vines that once relied heavily on pesiticide use have been proudly converted to certified organic in 2007 after seeing the long term effects on the people and vines.
The juice is 100% Chardonnay, fermented with indigenous yeasts & undergoes malolactic fermentation, spending 6 months aging in stainless steel tanks. Medium body with lively fruit notes, citrus & clean minerality.
