Named for their father, the "Grenaches de Pierre" is a cuvée of Grenache from the 100 year old vines in the Crau area vineyards that's aged for 18 months in concrete vats with no fining or filtration to further enhance the freshness, delicacy and elegance of this Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
Its powerful nose is reminiscent of basalt, tobacco leaf with cooked fruit notes and juicy prunes. Powerful structured palate, rich and rounded with flavours of fresh strawberry compote, raspberries, cherries tinged with thyme, wild juniper and violet rockrose.
